- Born and grew up in a small town Padang Serai, the northen State Kedah in Malaysia. Attended College education in electrical engineering at University of Malaya. I did my graduate work at NUS (Singapore) and MIT (Cambridge, MA) all in electronic materials and devices. Presently a research faculty in Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. I continue to be interest in silicon-based microelectronics more specifically on 3-D ICs and heterogeneous integration. Am learning about solar cells now.
